Al Ain Al Hili Hili Archeological Complex

Description

Hili Archeology Park

The largest archaeological complex of the Bronze Age is located in the UAE in the Heili region of Al Ain. It dates back to the beginning of the third millennium BC and continued until the beginning of the second millennium without interruption.

Some parts of this site have been incorporated into the Hailey Archeology Park, designed to highlight historical monuments and make them available to visitors. The Heili Grand Cemetery is one of the largest mass graves in the Hili archaeological complex built in circular stone formations, with a diameter of up to 12 meters, which appears to have been four meters above the earth surface.

The tomb contains four inner chambers, each dedicated to burying a certain number of dead. Other mass graves dating back to the same period show that hundreds of dead were buried there a long time ago. This tomb is characterized by two entrances with motifs of beautiful animal and animal forms, most notably the oleh, an indigenous animal in the Arabian Peninsula, leading to the four rooms that man used to bury the dead, who provided them with gifts and personal needs.
