Sir Bani Yas Island UAE
A desert island where thousands of free wild animals roam and act as a "Noah Ark" to preserve the biodiversity of the Arabian Peninsula.
This was the project of the late UAE founder, Sheikh Zayed, to Sir Bani Yas, which is now a regional destination for natural tourism
The Arabian Wildlife Park occupies more than half the size of Sir Bani Yas Island and is home to more than 10,000 animals roaming around freely.
Guests of the Danat Jebel Dhanna Resort can also book a three-hour tour, in which they will see many Arabian Oryx, gazelles and giraffes as well as hyenas and leopards.
