Umm Al-emirates park
Umm Al Emarat Park is located in the center of the capital city of Abu Dhabi along the Airport and Karama Road, No. 15, the largest and oldest Umm Al-emirates park in Abu Dhabi.
The park was originally named after the supervisor garden and was built in 1982 as a garden for women and children. However, it was recently invited to the Umm Al-Emarat Park and reopened after undergoing a comprehensive restoration.
In addition, the new park includes a host of facilities including the shadow house, the animal barn, the open theater, the large grass area, the botanical garden, the children garden and the evening garden.
The zoo is managed in cooperation with the UAE Zoo and will include 12 animals including camel, small goat, cow and dowry. The open theater is a large outdoor space for artistic events, which can accommodate more than 1,000 people. On the other hand, the Shadow House is a wonderful building overlooking the garden, which hosts several species of plants in a humidity-controlled environment, with two high-rise platforms offering a spectacular view of the garden and its surroundings.
In keeping with the history and heritage of the park, more than 200 trees were rescued from the old garden and planted in their main places around the park. The park now offers a unique addition to Abu Dhabi community space.
