Al Qasba Channel



Al Qasba Water Channel is one of the most important tourist and cultural landmarks in the Emirate of Sharjah. It connects Khalid Lake and Lake Al Khan with a length of one kilometer. It was inaugurated by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qassimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah on November 9, 2000.



On the same day, the buildings in Al Qasba and the New Canal were opened, which constitute an architectural masterpiece that provides a special addition to the panorama of the Islamic heritage buildings that characterize the city of Sharjah.




The Al Qasba project is located on an area of ​​10 thousand acres to be the first Arab cultural hub in the United Arab Emirates and represents a unique international destination for visitors of different nationalities.
