Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Memorial
Zayed was established to be a permanent national honor for Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and to celebrate the inspiring legacy and noble values of the founding father of the United Arab Emirates.
The site provides visitors with an opportunity to learn more about the founding father through innovative artwork, spacious green spaces, a visitor center with pictures and stories of God goodness, and a range of interactive experiences to learn more about its impact on the country and the world.
In the middle of Zayed, the founder of Thuraya, an innovative work of art created by the international artist Ralph Helmick. This three dimensional work is characterized by a dynamic character that shows the features of Sheikh Zayed from several angles around the edifice and from the dedicated viewing points as well. During the night, geometric shapes shimmering in a way that simulates the stars of the sky, which still light thousands of light years away and guide us to the right path.
Every visit to the Zayed Foundation is a new, immersive experience. It will test a range of interactive personal experiences with the personality of Sheikh Zayed, the man and the leader, and discover his inspiring heritage and vision of leadership.
