Sea Towers Project
Each of these towers has 29 floors.
The first is used as the headquarters of the Abu Dhabi Investment Council, while the second consists of the main offices of Al Hilal Bank.
They feature an exterior facade of 2,000 elements resembling all the bee nests, cooled by the world largest computerized interface. And thus open and close according to the movement of the sun, which helps to reduce the heat inside the towers by about 50 percent.
This set of solar panels is used on the surface to heat the water.
These eco-friendly towers are the first two buildings in the Gulf to be awarded the silver rating of the leading system in energy and environment designs.
They also took second place at the Emporis award ceremony for the 2012 projects skyscrapers.
The ceremony is the most prestigious event in the world, which involves the engineering of high-rise buildings.
