Translation marathon at Emirates Towers Youth Center
To mark the International Day of Translation
To mark the International Day of Translation, the Iridy platform offers a number of free activities for students, business owners, entrepreneurs and professional independents through the Translation Marathon, to be held at the Emirates Towers Youth Center on Saturday, September 29, 2018
This is the beginning of the day with the introduction and breakfast, followed by the speech of Nour Al Hassan, CEO and founder of the platform I want, which welcomes the audience and talk about the effectiveness.
Other activities include keyword, received by d. Hamda Al Hammadi, from the Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development, in addition to two interactive discussions and two interactive workshops to inspire the audience about projects and enhance participants skills.
Students from UAE universities are also participating in a translation competition during the day, in which the winner receives a one-year paid training opportunity at a translation company, the sister company of Irid.
