A small mosque is located in the southwest of Al Jahili Fort. The mosque is composed of one room with an open hallway on its eastern side, which can be accessed from a closed courtyard which is covered in the summer in order to provide an additional shade. In the courtyard there is a low platform where people are invited to pray, as well as a small room designed primarily for performing ritual ablutions.
