The Qattara oasis stretches over hectares of palms and fruit trees, a 4,000-year-old shrine, historic mosques, fortified houses and a market, all a blend of history and heritage. The oasis has been cultivated for three centuries, but there are signs of human habitation, including a 14-meter-long shrine containing 4,000-year-old artifacts.
