The United Arab Emirates Coast Guard is the official coastguard agency of the United Arab Emirates and is primarily responsible for protecting the coasts of the UAE by regulating maritime laws, maintaining, controlling borders, combating smuggling operations and other services. The United Arab Emirates Coast Guard is a branch of the United Arab Emirates Defense Division and operates in close coordination with the United Arab Emirates Navy.
