ADDC operates in the distribution of water and electricity to consumers in Abu Dhabi and Western Region. The Company was established on 25 November 1998 as part of the restructuring of the water and electricity sector in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. The Company commenced operations on 1 January 1999. The Company is wholly owned by the Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Authority.
