Proposing strategic and executive plans for the economic sector in the emirate and approving them by the Executive Council in accordance with Article 3 of the Department’s Law No. 7 of 2018, supervising their implementation, following up on the commitment of the department’s entities to implementing the strategic and executive plans for the economic sector, and monitoring and supervising all departments affiliated with the department such as spending from their budgets and revenues Which it achieves and its commitment to its duties and competencies, approving its strategic and executive plans for the department, and delegating some of its competencies to any other government agency or outsourcing some of it to the private sector after the approval of the Executive Council. Regulating the economic sector in all respects by setting policies, standards, regulations, decisions, executive and operational circulars regulating the sector, and controlling and supervising the economic sector in accordance with the relevant legislation, agreements and treaties applicable locally and internationally in the sector and in coordination with the relevant authorities in the state and abroad, and licensing entities, companies and persons working in the sector. The economic sector, monitoring the extent of its commitment to provide the optimum level in the quality of the services it provides in accordance with the legislation in force and in coordination with the relevant authorities, and proposing fees and tariffs related to its services and submitting them to the Executive Council for approval in accordance with the applicable systems Submit periodic reports and analytical studies to the Abu Dhabi Executive Office in relation to the department’s competencies, any other competencies or tasks assigned to it by the Executive Council
