Regulating the economic sector in all respects by setting policies, standards, regulations, decisions, executive and operational circulars regulating the sector, and controlling and supervising the economic sector in accordance with the relevant legislation, agreements and treaties applicable locally and internationally in the sector and in coordination with the relevant authorities in the state and abroad, and licensing entities, companies and persons working in the sector. The economic sector, monitoring the extent of its commitment to provide the optimum level in the quality of the services it provides in accordance with the legislation in force and in coordination with the relevant authorities, and proposing fees and tariffs related to its services and submitting them to the Executive Council for approval in accordance with the applicable systems Submit periodic reports and analytical studies to the Abu Dhabi Executive Office in relation to the department’s competencies, any other competencies or tasks assigned to it by the Executive Council
