The Emirates Heritage Club was established on the fifth of September 1993, and was announced by Emiri Decree No. 14 of 1997, as an independent body affiliated to the Abu Dhabi government headed by the late Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the club has taken upon itself, since that date, the responsibility of working hard to provide the infrastructure Necessary to revitalize the material, moral and environmental heritage of the United Arab Emirates, according to scientific and well-studied strategies. Thanks to the generous directives of the late Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the club has become an independent specialized body concerned with heritage culture and contributes to building the national character in a scientific and conscious way. Rather, it went beyond the scope of its interest to include regional and global circles. It was intended to attract local, Arab and international dignitaries, including politicians, thinkers, athletes, scientists and researchers, with the aim of getting acquainted and closely acquainted with the club, its programs, administrations, activities, festivals, and various fields. Through its course, the club succeeded in addressing all members of society in its various social strata, placing the youth and youth group at the center of its interests.
