The Emirates Heritage Club was established on the fifth of September 1993, and was announced by Emiri Decree No. 14 of 1997, as an independent body affiliated to the Abu Dhabi government headed by the late Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the club has taken upon itself, since that date, the responsibility of working hard to provide the infrastructure Necessary to revitalize the material, moral and environmental heritage of the United Arab Emirates, according to scientific and well-studied strategies. Thanks to the generous directives of the late Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the club has become an independent specialized body concerned with heritage culture and contributes to building the national character in a scientific and conscious way.
