The magnificent Corniche road runs 8 km along the beautiful waterfront, which includes children play areas, two separate pedestrian and bicycle paths, cafés and restaurants, and the Corniche Beach - and is supervised by a group of rescuers.
Corniche Beach
This beach stretch extends along the Corniche Road, near the Hilton Hotel, beyond the Arabian Gulf Street, with its main entrance. Your chances are great to have an umbrella on weekdays, and on weekends the umbrellas run out quickly. You can not get away much while swimming, with a floating fence to keep you 40 meters from the beach. There are also a large number of rescue supervisors.
Abu Dhabi clean beach has been awarded the "blue flag" - an internationally recognized environmental quality certification for beaches and marinas that ensure the cleanliness and safety of swimming pools.
The Corniche attracts 30,000 to 50,000 visitors a month to enjoy its three sections, the Family Section, the People Section and the Open Public Section. The visitor benefits from over 1,100 free parking spaces a 5-minute walk from the beach. Entry prices are Dh10 ($ 2.7) for the Family and Individuals Section, while the public beach is free.
